Class 1 HGV Driver – Ongoing Temp (Potential Permanent Role) 

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay Rate: £16.42 per hour
Hours: 12-hour shifts, start times between 04:00 AM and 07:00 AM, approx. 48 hours per week

About the Role
We are recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client in Sittingbourne, Kent. This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

You will be operating Curtain Sider trailers and working with a modern vehicle fleet equipped with industry-leading technology. Safety and culture are at the heart of everything they do, and you’ll receive bespoke training, including in-house 1-to-1 driver assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1 HGV vehicles (Curtain Sider trailers)
• Ensuring safe and compliant deliveries
• Working with modern fleet equipment and advanced technology
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles
• Experience with Curtain Sider trailers preferred
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
