THE ROLE:
In this role the Senior Lawyer will provide leadership within a busy team, ensuring investigation and enforcement work is carried out fairly, efficiently, and consistently. The role involves managing a team of officers, overseeing complex and high risk cases, and handling the more challenging legal matters. The Senior Lawyer will also support team development and contributes to wider organisational projects and objectives.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are open to qualified solicitors, barristers, FCILEx, or foreign qualified lawyers with experience supervising staff and managing a caseload within a casework environment. You will demonstrate strong knowledge of legal procedures, sound judgment and risk assessment, and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in performance management, electronic case systems, and investigations or complaints handling.
