Security Operative – Prestigious Private Estate
Ideal for Ex-Army & Ex-Police Professionals
Location: Confidential / High-profile Estate
Salary: £38,677.08 per annum + overtime opportunities
Benefits: Clothing and Food Allowance (£2562.48)
Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off – 12-hour shifts (days & nights) - accommodation provided during shift week, including cooking facilities
Our client is expanding their in-house security team and is seeking a highly professional Security Operative. This role is particularly well suited to ex-Military or ex-Police personnel, or candidates with proven experience in corporate or estate security.
You will be providing first-class, discreet security support at a prestigious and high-profile private estate, where professionalism, integrity, and calm judgement are essential at all times.
The Role
As part of a close-knit and highly trusted team, you will be responsible for the 24/7 security and protection of the Estate, ensuring the safety of people, property, and reputation.
Security is delivered through:
• Continuous CCTV and alarm monitoring
• Recorded mobile and foot patrols
• Professional interaction with visitors, staff, tenants, and stakeholders
This is a front-line but low-profile role, requiring strong situational awareness, excellent interpersonal skills, and absolute discretion. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a visible yet discreet security presence
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
• Conduct structured foot and mobile patrols
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents or alarms
• Engage with visitors, staff, media, and members of the public in a courteous and diplomatic manner
• Maintain accurate incident and patrol records
• Uphold strict confidentiality and professional standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
• Ex-Army or Ex-Police background highly desirable
• Strong experience in security, protection, or operational environments
• Calm, disciplined, and professional under pressure
• Excellent communication and judgement
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a trusted team
Essential Requirements
• Valid SIA licence
• Clean UK driving licence
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS and additional background checks
• Willingness to sign a strict Confidentiality Agreement / NDA
