Pay: £16.53 - £26.21 per hour

Pertemps is proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK's trusted Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV 7.5t (C1) Drivers for the Exeter Mail Centre.

Whether you're semi-retired, balancing family commitments, or simply want short, flexible shifts, this role gives you choice, variety, and excellent pay - with some shifts as short as 4 hours, making it ideal for weekend or occasional work.

The Role

• Simple depot-to-depot driving
• No multi-drop, no endless stops
• Clean, well-maintained Royal Mail vehicles
• Keeping the nation's post moving smoothly and safely
• Some light loading/unloading involved - nothing heavy, just a hands-on approach when needed

What we're looking for:

• A valid 7.5t licence (C1) held for a minimum of 2 years
• Minimum 180 days' proven commercial driving experience
• CPC & Digi Tacho card - both essential
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN/CD/TT)
• Strong geographical knowledge & a professional attitude
• Good understanding of WTD and driver hours
• Willing to complete a DBS check, site assessment, and induction
