Our projects span healthcare, data centres, laboratories, rail infrastructure, and commercial developments, with a portfolio exceeding £450 million.
The Electrical Design Engineer will take ownership of electrical design delivery, working closely with directors, multidisciplinary teams, and clients to produce technically excellent, integrated solutions.

The Electrical Design Engineer will take ownership of electrical design delivery, working closely with directors, multidisciplinary teams, and clients to produce technically excellent, integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop full electrical service systems including lighting, power distribution, fire/safety systems, structured cabling, and smart controls
- Produce detailed calculations, load schedules, single-line diagrams, CAD/Revit drawings, and technical reports
- Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, and sustainability teams to deliver integrated MEP designs
- Support energy-efficient and low-carbon designs using in-house modelling tools and industry best practice
- Conduct site surveys, inspections, and assist with commissioning and handovers
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams during design reviews and site visits
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations and standards (BS 7671, CIBSE, Building Regulations)
- Contribute to technical QA, risk management, and value-engineering processes
- Degree (BEng/MEng) or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
- 3–7 years’ experience in building services electrical design (consultancy or contractor)
- Proficient in electrical design software; Revit experience preferred
- Strong understanding of UK wiring regulations, CIBSE standards, and sustainable design principles
- Excellent communication, client engagement, and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality designs
- Ambitious, with a goal of achieving or maintaining chartership (IEE/CIBSE/IET/MICE)
